CUBS AND BULBUL SUMMER CAMP 2023-24 HIGHLIGHTS! |

We're thrilled to share the amazing moments from our Cubs and Bulbul Summer Camp held from 26th to 28th March 2024 right here in our school premises!
The camp kicked off with a splendid inauguration by our beloved Principal Mam Varsha S Gaonkar, alongside the esteemed presence of Mrs. Chetna Patil, an international Cubs resource person from KLE Gokak School, and our Academic Coordinator, Mr. Santosh Hubballi sir. Together, they illuminated the camp with the ceremonial lamp, igniting the spirit of learning and camaraderie.
Principal Mam's words echoed the importance of such camps for our primary students, emphasizing the values of morality, discipline, leadership, and self-awareness.
Over the course of three enriching days, our Cubs and Bulbuls indulged in a plethora of activities designed to foster growth and learning:

K.L.E. Society's School Saundatti organized Annual Gathering 2019-20 on 13th and 14th December 2019 at the school premises. His holiness Shri Murughendra Mahaswamiji (Somashekhar Math, Munavalli), Shri Shashidhar Todakar Principal Hiremallur Ishwaran PU Science College Dharwad and our school Principal Miss Varsha Gaonkar inaugurated the function by lighting the lamp.
The talented choreographers from Hyderabad with the school teachers trained our students to present mesmerizing cultural events such as dances, skits, songs etc. FSM (Furtados School of Music) also presented musical performance on the occasion.
On Day 2 i.e. on 14th December 2019 A poetry collection " Kanasina Kadava Tatti" was released which was written by our school Academic Incharge Mr. Santosh Hubballi (Kannada Teacher and Rhymester). Shri Balesh Chinagudi (BRC Saundatti addressed the poetry collection and Shri Chandranna Shamarayanavar and Principal Miss Varsha Gaonkar were present on the occasion

K.L.E Society’s School, Saundatti witnessed the celebration of the 70th Republic Day on the 26th January, 2020. Students, Staff and Faculty members filled with a feeling of patriotism and dedication gathered in front of the building. The celebration started with the hoisting of the National Flag by the Principal of our school Miss.Varsha S Gaonkar. In her speech, the Principal highlighted the importance of the Constitution and its unique features such as Sovereign, Socialist, Secular, Democratic and Republic enshrined in the preamble of the constitution. She also gave an insight on the various accomplishments achieved by School and motivated the crowd for bringing more laurels for the school through their accomplishments. The speech was followed by Ku.Gautami Badiger(Kannada), Ku.Supriya Baloji(English), Ku.Srushti Bali(Hindi). The program concluded with the message to create a great nation through collective efforts from all individual. Sweets were distributed for all the students.

K.L.E. SOCIETY’S SCHOOL, SAUNDATTI, celebrated India’s 73rd Independence Day with beautifully orchestrated march pasts, and parades. The Chief Guest of the function Ms. Varsha S Gaonkar (Principal, K.L.E School Saundatti) unfurled the tricolor flag and all in unison sang the National Anthem and expressed the joy of our freedom. Anchoring done by Kumari Megha Sakkappanavar , Prayer Song by Kumari, Amulya Savatikar Mr Anangouda Mudenkopp. welcomed the guests, All the four house RED, GREEN, BLUE and YELLOW Houses performed the March past. House wise students sang the Patriotic song that awakened everyone’s feelings towards our Mother Land. And few students shared their views on the significance of the day. Our School Academic in-charge Mr. Shivakumar Awari presented the speech. The Programme concluded up with the Vote of thanks by Mr. Siddaling Malwad.

on 7th July 2018, Saturday. All the
little angels of Pre-Primary had
dressed up beautifully in Red colour
clothes. Teachers were also dressed
up in red colour clothes. In the
Assembly teachers had displayed red
colour objects like toys, teddies,
fruits- red apples, cherries etc.
All the children participated and
everyone was very happy. A lovely

To inculcate the leadership qualities in students and to give them a feel of functioning of the administrative body, a school cabinet was formed at K.L.E. Society’s School, Saundattiand the investiture ceremony was held on 17/6/2017 in the school premises.Shri.B.G.Bangari, the Director of the Unique Dream IAS and KAS study circle Dharwad and ShriH.L.LamaniMusician from Dharwad were present as Chief Guest and Guest of honor respectively. The function was presided over by our Principal Ms. V.S. Gaonkar.
Kumar KarthikgoudaBhadrakali of class 9th anchored the programmewhile KumariTejaswiniAmbadagatti of class 9th delivered the welcome address. Smt. PushpaRoogi introduced the chief guest to the audience.
Samarth Bani of class 10th was selected as the Head Boy
GouriSakkappanavarof class 10th was selected as the Head Girl
Shri.B.G.Bangari, the chief guest of the day gave the badges to the ministers and ShriH.L.Lamani presented the sashes. Mr. Vilas Naikar administered the oath to the members of the cabinet and Smt. DraxayiniMathapati administered the oath to the House Captains.
In his address, the Chief Guest Shri.B.G.Bangari appreciated the efforts by the school for providing opportunities to the students to take part in activities like these.
Guest of honor ShriH.L.Lamanientertained all of us with his melodious devotional and folk songs.
In her address our Principal Ms. VarshaGaonkarthanked the Chief Guest and Guest of honor and also congratulated the newly appointed school cabinet members.
She also mentioned our school CBSE First Batch of Class 10th secured 100% Result in CBSE Board Exam 2016-17

SCHOOL REOPENING DAY |

On the eve of school reopening day, our beloved Principal Smt. V.S.Gaonkar had traditionally performed Pooja of Goddess Saraswati. All the teachers and students were present and got blessings of Maa Saraswati. Sweets were distributed among the teachers and students. Later new teachers were introduced to the students. Pooja program was well planned and performed. Soft board and School gate were decorated. Assembly was been conducted by the teachers and Teachers sung prayer song.

WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY |

On the eve of World Environment Day, under the guidance of our principal, name plate was displayed in front of the different plants which included taxonomy of plants. Soft board was decorated colorfully by environmental quotes and different floral varieties were displayed on the blue board. There was a speech by Miss. SupriyaManagooli on the topic Connect people to the nature. On this occasion teachers had worn a green sarees. Students were advised to pour the remaining water left in their water bottles to the plants while going home.

On the eve of World Yoga Day, Yoga camp was held in the school premises for four days i.e. from 18th June to 21st June, under the guidance of our principal. Students, teachers and parents participated in the yoga camp. Yoga camp helped us all to learn new asana. Yoga camp was use to start sharp at 6:30am in the morning. Our school Physical Instructors Mr. Vilas and Mr. Mallikarjun sir conducted the camp. On 21st of June Students from grade I to X performed various asana along with teachers.

FAREWELL PARTY organized on 18th Feb 2017 at KLE School, Saundatti
It was an incredible evening hosted and organized by Grade VIII and IX students, to bid farewell for Grade X students. This is to wish them a great future. Function began with a floral welcome to our beloved Principal Smt. V.S. Gaonkar, followed by her speech, she wished good luck to the students of Grade X for their future and appreciated the efforts of Grade VIII and IX students. She also showed some videos about how parents and teachers are very important to every child’s life. Mr. ManjunathUppar Grade X class teacher in his speech expressed his hope that students will continue holding top positions in the future.
Students of grade IX students presented very entertaining group dance and song performances. Each Grade X student was given an interesting task to perform. The highlight was a power point presentation which threw fun and added life to the party. Finally token of love and appreciation was given to the students of Grade X.

Kshitija Club of KLE Society’s School, Saundatti celebrated the “National Science Day” on 28th February 2017 as a mark of respect to the most eminent scientists of India and the world, Dr. C.V. Raman. Chief Guest of the function Shri S.N. Laxetti Assistant Teacher S.K. High School, Saundatti distributed certificates to all the winners of Science and Math Exhibition. Addressing the students Shri S.N. Laxetti sir discussed about the current environmental problems. Annual Science and Maths Exhibition were held at our school on 28th December 2016. It is organised with a view to encourage and inculcate a scientific temper among students.The students showcase their talents in Science and Mathematics. As you entered the area where projects made by the students were displayed, you could feel the pulse and the magnitude of the event. The entire school was abuzz with activity. Chief Guests Shri. Basavaraj Sakkappanavar (Social Worker), Shri. Prakash B. Mathad (Health Inspector) and our beloved Principal Smt. Varsha Gaonkar were present in the function. They keenly interacted with students and encouraged them. Students explained the various projects and activities that were on display.

welcome note by Mrs. Draxayini Mathapati
followed the Colonel Rumale N.P. address to
the students.

and teaching them how to excel in life

in unison sang the National Anthem and
expressed the joy of our freedom. Anchoring

Sarvmangala Laxetti and Group Kumari Ananya
T.K. Halli welcomed the Guests, all the four
house RED, GREEN, BLUE and YELLOW Houses
performed the March past. Kumari Rajeshwari
H & group sang the Patriotic song that
awakened everyone’s feelings towards our
Mother Land. Few students shared his views
on the significance of the day. The
Programme concluded up with the Vote of

on 18thJuly 2016 with the objective to
create awareness and to educated the

our regular diet. Our Principal madam Smt.
V.S. Gaonkar explained the different
varieties of fruits and the importance of
their intake in diet for physical & mental
growth. The children were told about the
health benefits of having fruits everyday. |

On 20/8/16 we celebrated Green day for the
pre-primary section. The main motto behind
celebrating Green day is to introduce Green
colour to kids. Kids were dressed in Green.
Kids were asked to bring Green colour
objects. Rhymes on Green theme were narrated

occasion we conducted a competition
called Blowing the balloon for
fathers. Our children performed
Basavanna enact. Mr Malagoudra, a
famous advocate of Saundatti was the
guest and gave wonderful speech on
this occasion.

: On 26th July 2014, We
celebrated Shri Krishna Janmashtami
in our school. Pre primary students
dressed up like Radha and Krishna. We
did cradling ceremony of Krishna. In
this function, students performed
dance on Krishna’s songs. Many
parents participated in this
programme.

BOOK FAIR IN OUR SCHOOL : On 13th September 2014,
There was a Book Fair in our school.
This fair was inaugurated by Mrs
Naina, a teacher of Kolhapur. Book
fair got good response from parents
and students.

Gandhi Jayanti Celebration On 2nd October 2014 :
On this
occasion, we performed pooja of
Great soul Mahatma Gandhiji and Lal
Bahadur Shastri. Songs were sung by
our music teacher and students. Our
students gave speech on Gandhiji
and importance of cleanliness.
Pledge was preached by Smt Draxayani.
Power Point Presentation was done to
give information about Gandhiji. We
took the students to Rally in the
Market with Slogans and Pamphlets to
give awareness about cleanliness.
There was good response from the
public and Block Education Officer (BEO)
also attended the Rally and
appreciated our school.

Independence day celebration :
We celebrated Independence Day in
our school on 15th August
2014. All the four houses performed
March Fast and Drill. Speeches were
given by students and teachers.

Hats off to Indian scientists !
: On 23rd September 2014,
was the great day for Indians that
we, the Indians created a history in
science and technology by
succeeding in MOM. We saluted our
scientists by making a big function.

Soft boards, house boards and
bulletin board :
To display the talent or creativity
of the students, We have soft boards
in every class. There are house
boards which are decorated every
month by a specific subject by house
wise students. At the school
entrance, A beautiful Bulletin
boards are filled with notices, Exam
time table,notices of Cultural
committee, Important news paper
cuttings , Excellent drawings and
Greeting cards made by the students
and other information about the
School.

Traditional day celebration : As India known for its ‘Unity in
diversity’, We celebrated
traditional day on 22nd
November 2014 i,e on Saturday. On
this day students wore different
states traditional dresses and they
gave information about their
dresses. That day school was like a
beautiful garden filled with
colorful flowers.

PARENTS SPORTS :
For parents also we conducted
sports. In this there were many
competitions such as Filling the
bottle, Blowing balloon, Bomb in the
city, Volley ball, Skipping etc.
Many of the parents participated and
got the prizes.

ANNUAL SPORTS : As proverb says Health is Wealth, It
is very important that with the
curricular activities, Co-curricular
activities are also necessary for
the students’ all round development.
We conducted Annual Sports on 20th
& 21st November 2014. In
this students have participated
individually and house wise .

We conducted science exhibition on
19th December 2014, i,e
on Friday on the eve of Annual
