K.L.E. Society's School Saundatti organized Annual Gathering 2019-20 on 13th and 14th December 2019 at the school premises. His holiness Shri Murughendra Mahaswamiji (Somashekhar Math, Munavalli), Shri Shashidhar Todakar Principal Hiremallur Ishwaran PU Science College Dharwad and our school Principal Miss Varsha Gaonkar inaugurated the function by lighting the lamp.
The talented choreographers from Hyderabad with the school teachers trained our students to present mesmerizing cultural events such as dances, skits, songs etc. FSM (Furtados School of Music) also presented musical performance on the occasion. On Day 2 i.e. on 14th December 2019 A poetry collection " Kanasina Kadava Tatti" was released which was written by our school Academic Incharge Mr. Santosh Hubballi (Kannada Teacher and Rhymester). Shri Balesh Chinagudi (BRC Saundatti addressed the poetry collection and Shri Chandranna Shamarayanavar and Principal Miss Varsha Gaonkar were present on the occasion



"I take this Solemn pledge that I will work for the emotional oneness and harmony of all the people of India regardless of caste, region, religion or language. I further pledge that I shall resolve all differences among us through dialogue and constitutional means without resorting to violence".



K.L.E Society’s School, Saundatti witnessed the celebration of the 70th Republic Day on the 26th January, 2020. Students, Staff and Faculty members filled with a feeling of patriotism and dedication gathered in front of the building. The celebration started with the hoisting of the National Flag by the Principal of our school Miss.Varsha S Gaonkar. In her speech, the Principal highlighted the importance of the Constitution and its unique features such as Sovereign, Socialist, Secular, Democratic and Republic enshrined in the preamble of the constitution. She also gave an insight on the various accomplishments achieved by School and motivated the crowd for bringing more laurels for the school through their accomplishments. The speech was followed by Ku.Gautami Badiger(Kannada), Ku.Supriya Baloji(English), Ku.Srushti Bali(Hindi). The program concluded with the message to create a great nation through collective efforts from all individual. Sweets were distributed for all the students.



K.L.E. SOCIETY’S SCHOOL, SAUNDATTI, celebrated India’s 73rd Independence Day with beautifully orchestrated march pasts, and parades. The Chief Guest of the function Ms. Varsha S Gaonkar (Principal, K.L.E School Saundatti) unfurled the tricolor flag and all in unison sang the National Anthem and expressed the joy of our freedom. Anchoring done by Kumari Megha Sakkappanavar , Prayer Song by Kumari, Amulya Savatikar Mr Anangouda Mudenkopp. welcomed the guests, All the four house RED, GREEN, BLUE and YELLOW Houses performed the March past. House wise students sang the Patriotic song that awakened everyone’s feelings towards our Mother Land. And few students shared their views on the significance of the day. Our School Academic in-charge Mr. Shivakumar Awari presented the speech. The Programme concluded up with the Vote of thanks by Mr. Siddaling Malwad.



Hindi Diwas is celebrated to inculcate love for the Hindi language and get the knowledge on importance of the Hindi Diwas . Hindi Diwas is celebrated on 14th September of every year in K.L.E Society’s School. The celebration was conducted in the Special Assembly.


Gandhi & LAL Bahuddur shastri JI jayanthi CELEBRATION

Gandhi Jayanti, is celebrated by the entire nation to commemorate the birth anniversary of the father of our nation Mahatama Gandhi. Our School celebrated Bapu’s birthday on 2nd October 2019 with great zeal, enthusiasm and patriotism.



Children are loved by on and all. They win our hearts with their innocent smiles. On November 14th , children’s day has been celebrated as “ CHILDREN’s DAY” in India. India’s first Prime Minister Pandit Jawahar Lal Neharu was born on 14th November, as he likes the children, this day is being celebrated as Children’s Day. On this auspicious occasion our school teachers entertained the children by their marvelous dance performances.



On the eve of Republic Day our school students enacted STREET PLAY at Belagavi and bagged First Prize.

“Cleanliness is Godliness” is the mantra of Mahatma Gandhiji, Father of Nation. He demonstrated, propagated and insisted for individual and community cleanliness throughout his life. Following his footprints, K.L.E. Society’s School, Saundatti celebrated Gandhi Jayanti by organizing Marathon as part of cleanliness drive on 2nd October.




Scouts & Guides students of our school had taken Sadbhavana Day pledge on 20th Aug 2018.




National Hindi Day Celebration 14th September


Students and all the staff of our school celebrated National Hindi Day on 14th September. To mark this day the Principal, staff and students spoke in Hindi the entire day. In the Assembly a quiz was also held grade wise (from I to X).


Constitution Day Celebration 26th NOV


On the occasion of Constitution Day Taluka Legal Service Authority, Advocate Bar Association Saundatti and our school conducted a programme on Legal Aid and Awareness Programme at our school on 27th Nov. 2018. Shri C Veerabhadraiah (Hon. Sr. Civil Judge Saundatti) inaugurated the function by lightening the lamp, Smt. Hemashree D. (Hon. 1st Additional Civil Judge & JMFC Saundatti) stressed on the significance of the Fundamental Rights and Duties in her speech. Shri M.G. Vatnal President Bar Association Saundatti presented guest speech on the importance of constitution. K.W. Petlur BEO Saundatti, and our school principal Miss V .S. Gaonkar shared their views on the occasion.


72nd Independence Day Celebration

House wise students sang the Patriotic song that awakened everyone’s feelings towards our Mother Land. Mrs. Ganga Anandshetty and few students shared their views on the significance of the day. Our School Principal Miss. V.S. Gaonkar presented the presidential speech. The Programme concluded up with the Vote of thanks by Mrs. Nirmala Ullagaddi.


School Re-opening Day



K.L.E. Society's School, Saundatti reopened on 28th May. The new academic year began with Saraswati Pooja. After the pooja sweets were distributed to the students. New Teachers and New Students were introduced to the students in the Assembly. Guest of honour Shri Panchanagouda Dyamanagoudar (Leader INC) addressed the students. Principal Miss. V.S. Gaonkar and all the staff were present in the function.


Red Day Celebration


“The best colour in the whole world is the one that looks good on you.”
Pre-Primary children of K.L.E. Society’s School, Saundatti celebrated Red colour day on 7th July 2018, Saturday. All the little angels of Pre-Primary had dressed up beautifully in Red colour clothes. Teachers were also dressed up in red colour clothes. In the Assembly teachers had displayed red colour objects like toys, teddies, fruits- red apples, cherries etc. All the children participated and everyone was very happy. A lovely day passed by with getting introduced to the colour of love – Red Colour.

On the eve of our beloved Chairman Sir's birthday, K.L.E. Society's School, Saundatti celebrated his birthday by conducting Health Awareness Programme for students and planting the 50 saplings in the school campus.




Leaders are not born but are made by their experiences in life”. To inculcate the leadership qualities in students and to give them a feel of functioning of the administrative body, a school cabinet was formed at K.L.E. Society’s School, Saundattiand the investiture ceremony was held on 17/6/2017 in the school premises.Shri.B.G.Bangari, the Director of the Unique Dream IAS and KAS study circle Dharwad and ShriH.L.LamaniMusician from Dharwad were present as Chief Guest and Guest of honor respectively. The function was presided over by our Principal Ms. V.S. Gaonkar.

 Kumar KarthikgoudaBhadrakali of class 9th anchored the programmewhile KumariTejaswiniAmbadagatti of class 9th delivered the welcome address. Smt. PushpaRoogi introduced the chief guest to the audience. Samarth Bani of class 10th was selected as the Head Boy GouriSakkappanavarof class 10th was selected as the Head Girl

Shri.B.G.Bangari, the chief guest of the day gave the badges to the ministers and ShriH.L.Lamani presented the sashes. Mr. Vilas Naikar administered the oath to the members of the cabinet and Smt. DraxayiniMathapati administered the oath to the House Captains.

 In his address, the Chief Guest Shri.B.G.Bangari appreciated the efforts by the school for providing opportunities to the students to take part in activities like these. Guest of honor ShriH.L.Lamanientertained all of us with his melodious devotional and folk songs.

In her address our Principal Ms. VarshaGaonkarthanked the Chief Guest and Guest of honor and also congratulated the newly appointed school cabinet members. She also mentioned our school CBSE First Batch of Class 10th secured 100% Result in CBSE Board Exam 2016-17 Kumar ChetanSiddapur of Class 10 proposed the vote of thanks.




On the eve of school reopening day, our beloved Principal Smt. V.S.Gaonkar had traditionally performed Pooja of Goddess Saraswati. All the teachers and students were present and got blessings of Maa Saraswati. Sweets were distributed among the teachers and students. Later new teachers were introduced to the students. Pooja program was well planned and performed. Soft board and School gate were decorated. Assembly was been conducted by the teachers and Teachers sung prayer song.  




On the eve of World Environment Day, under the guidance of our principal, name plate was displayed in front of the different plants which included taxonomy of plants. Soft board was decorated colorfully by environmental quotes and different floral varieties were displayed on the blue board. There was a speech by Miss. SupriyaManagooli on the topic Connect people to the nature. On this occasion teachers had worn a green sarees. Students were advised to pour the remaining water left in their water bottles to the plants while going home.  




On the eve of World Yoga Day, Yoga camp was held in the school premises for four days i.e. from 18th June to 21st June, under the guidance of our principal. Students, teachers and parents participated in the yoga camp. Yoga camp helped us all to learn new asana. Yoga camp was use to start sharp at 6:30am in the morning. Our school Physical Instructors Mr. Vilas and Mr. Mallikarjun sir conducted the camp. On 21st of June Students from grade I to X performed various asana along with teachers.  




FAREWELL PARTY organized on 18th Feb 2017 at KLE School, Saundatti

It was an incredible evening hosted and organized by Grade VIII and IX students, to bid farewell for Grade X students. This is to wish them a great future. Function began with a floral welcome to our beloved Principal Smt. V.S. Gaonkar, followed by her speech, she wished good luck to the students of Grade X for their future and appreciated the efforts of Grade VIII and IX students. She also showed some videos about how parents and teachers are very important to every child’s life. Mr. ManjunathUppar Grade X class teacher in his speech expressed his hope that students will continue holding top positions in the future.

Students of grade IX students presented very entertaining group dance and song performances. Each Grade X student was given an interesting task to perform. The highlight was a power point presentation which threw fun and added life to the party. Finally token of love and appreciation was given to the students of Grade X.




K.L.E. Society's School, Saundatti celebrated National Mathematics Day on 22nd Dec. 2016 to commemorate ShrinivasaRamanujan's 129th Birth Anniversary.




Kshitija Club of KLE Society’s School, Saundatti celebrated the “National Science Day” on 28th February 2017 as a mark of respect to the most eminent scientists of India and the world, Dr. C.V. Raman. Chief Guest of the function Shri S.N. Laxetti Assistant Teacher S.K. High School, Saundatti distributed certificates to all the winners of Science and Math Exhibition. Addressing the students Shri S.N. Laxetti sir discussed about the current environmental problems. He also expressed his views on how we should never fear to follow our dreams and never stop questioning. Our school Principal Smt. V.S. Gaonkar thanked Shri S.N. Laxetti sir for his presence at the function and congratulated the winners of Science and Math Exhibition.




Annual Science and Maths Exhibition were held at our school on 28th December 2016. It is organised with a view to encourage and inculcate a scientific temper among students.The students showcase their talents in Science and Mathematics. As you entered the area where projects made by the students were displayed, you could feel the pulse and the magnitude of the event. The entire school was abuzz with activity. Chief Guests Shri. Basavaraj Sakkappanavar (Social Worker), Shri. Prakash B. Mathad (Health Inspector) and our beloved Principal Smt. Varsha Gaonkar were present in the function. They keenly interacted with students and encouraged them. Students explained the various projects and activities that were on display.




To commemorate the birth anniversary of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar K.L.E. Society’s School, Saundatti celebrated AmbedkarJayanti or BhimJayanti on April 14.Dr. B.R. Ambedkar has contributed immensely to our nation and his legacy is being embraced by the youth readily. The youth on the right path fulfilling the dreams of the architects of the nation is the best homage to these national heroes.




K.L.E. Society’s School celebrated Holi in advance. Students enjoyed a lot applying colors to each other and Grade X students did hand printing. The students were told about the precautionary measures to be taken while playing Holi




K.L.E. Society's School Saundatti celebrated 68th Republic Day. The students took pride in glorifying and celebrating the spirit of unity. To mark the importance of this day, a grand celebration was held in our school. Our school students participated in Republic Day Celebration Pared and sang patriotic songs.





KLE Society's School Saundatti celebrated Doctors' Day Chief Guest Dr. A.K. Kabbur (Dentist) addressed the students and suggested them to maintain a good health and hygiene. Principal Smt. V.S Gaonkar and Dr. Sonal Bhoyar were present in the programme. Students presented some videos and gave speech on the Doctors' Day.







It was a day of delight for the teachers to see the talents of their students performing various shows at KLE Society’s School Saundatti. On the eve of Teachers Day Celebration on 5th September 2016.  Students arranged quiz for teachers. The school takes the pride to honor Sir. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan.





Raksha Bandhan, the festival marking the brother-sister bond, was celebrated with traditional fervour in K.L.E Society’s School, Saundatti.

The girl students tied Rakhi(sacred thread) to boys and shared chocolates and sweets.





Sri Krishna Janmashtami was celebrated at KLE Society's School, Saundatti on 25th August, 2016 i.e. on Thursday. Children participated in various cultural programmes. Smt. Varsha Gaonkar Principal KLE School Saundatti explained the significance of Sri Krishna Janmashtami to students. Children dressed as Lord Krishna, Radha and Gopikas. It seems the angels dressed in the Lord Krishna’s attire landed on the earth to celebrate the Krishna Janmashtami.





Our School organized the Introductory Programme of NCC-2016 on 19th August 2016. Guest of Honour Mr. Karan Doddwad and Colonel Rumale N.P. and our beloved Principal Smt. V.S. Gaonkar were present in the function. The programme began with the welcome note by Mrs. Draxayini Mathapati followed the Colonel Rumale N.P. address to the students.
Colonel Rumale N.P. spoke about the importance of NCC how it changes the personality of the students, how it builds the leadership abilities among the students and teaching them how to excel in life against the odds and also shown some tele films which motivated the students to join the Indian Army. Anchoring by Mr. Anand Prabhunavar and programme ended with the Vote of Thanks by Mrs. Ashwini Navalli.





Father's Day is a day to honor all the fathers for everything they did for their children. To express gratitude towards the fathers for all their love and supportK.L.E. School Saundatti celebrated Father’s Day on Thursday, 18th August 2016.

Students sang out father’s day songs with heartwarming expression to reach out and make their fathers feel special.

Kumari Rajeshwari H & group sang the Patriotic song that awakened everyone’s feelings towards our Mother Land. Few students shared his views on the significance of the day. The Programme concluded up with the Vote of thanks by Bhoomika Singadi At the end sweets were distributed to the students. As a token of  love and concern.





Students of Pre-primary celebrated fruit day on 18thJuly 2016 with the objective to create awareness and to educated the children about the importance of fruits in our regular diet.  Our Principal madam Smt. V.S. Gaonkar explained the different varieties of fruits and the importance of their intake in diet for physical & mental growth. The children were told about the health benefits of having fruits  everyday.


On 20/8/16 we celebrated Green day for the pre-primary section. The main motto behind celebrating Green day is to introduce Green colour to kids. Kids were dressed in Green. Kids were asked to bring Green colour objects. Rhymes on Green theme were narrated and enacted by students.





K.L.E Society's School Saundatti Celebrated International Yoga day On June 21 honourable chief guest Dr.N.N Kulkarni addressed the students suggested them to practice Yoga every day and our Principal Smt. V.S.Gaonkar in her speech told the importance of the Yoga. Programme started with a Saraswati Pooja as remark for the celebration of Music Day. Students demonstrated yoga.





On 20th June 2016 a Cultural and Investiture Ceremony is organized by the KLE Society's School, Saundatti. Honourable Guest Shri. B.S. Mantoor (C.P.I. Saundatti) in his address stressed on the importance of leadership qualities and Principal Smt. Varsha Gaonkar addressed the council members and congratulated them for been elected as the school representatives.


KLE School Saundatti Building Inauguration Ceremony


The KLE Society’s School, Saundatti had organized the inaugural function of the New School Building on Tuesday, Nov, 3rd 2015 at KLE Campus. His Holiness Shri.Mallikarjun Mahaswamiji, from Murughamath, Dharwad had inaugurated the new building on Tuesday at 5:00 PM in the presence of MLA Shri. Anand Mamani, Member of Parliament Shri. Suresh Angadi, KLE Society President Shri. Shivanand Koujalagi, Chairman and Rajya Sabha Member Shri. Prabhakar Kore and Dr. Preeti Dodwad Coordinator, KLE Society's English Medium Schools and Smt. Varsha Gaonkar Principal KLE Society’s School, Saundatti.


EVENTS 2014 - 15

  • SCHOOL RE-OPENING DAY : We performed Saraswati Pooja on 19th May 2014, on the eve of School Re-opening Day. On this occasion the Principal, teachers and students were present.

  • MOTHER’S DAY CELEBRATION :  We celebrated Mother’s day on 31st May 2014 i.e on Saturday. We kept a Competition for mothers- Cooking without fire. Many Parents participated very enthusiastically in the competition.

  • WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY : Our school (KSHITIJA ) Science club celebrated World environment day on 5th June 2014 i.e on Thursday. On this day we planted the saplings and Honorable guest Smt Gokak spoke about environment. Students decorated the soft boards on that day.

    INAUGURATION OF CULTURAL PROGRAMME : We inaugurated cultural programme on 9th June i.e on Monday. In this programme our local news reporters Mr Baloji, Mr Mirajkar, Mr Kori, Mr Patil & Mr Panibandh were the Chief Guests. On this day we welcomed new students and teachers. Also we honored last year’s 10th students. This function was organized by Cultural Committee in the guidance of Principal Madam.

  • SCHOOL ELECTION 2014-15 : School election was held on 18th June 2014 i.e on Thursday. Nearly 27 to 30 students were nominated from Grade VIII to X. Grade V to X students casted their vote on that day.

  • INVESTITURE PROGRAMME : Investiture programme was organized on 19th June 2014 i.e on Friday. For this function Mr Akkannavar Principal of G G Chopra P U College Saundatti and Mr S C Mathapati Principal of S V S Bellubi Degree College Saundatti were the Chief Guests. Oath was preached by Mr Vilas sir to all the elected members.  

  • MUSIC DAY CELEBRATION : On this day, brief information was given about great Musicians and Melodious song was sung by Music teacher.

  • INTERNATIONAL DRUG DAY CELEBRATION : INTERNATIONAL DRUG DAY CELEBRATION was celebrated in our school on 26th June 2014, i.e on Thursday. Kumar Praveen Kumbar of 9th Grade prepared and presented the PPT about “Effect of drugs on the human health”.

  • Doctor’s day celebration : Doctors Day Celebration was held on 1st July 2014, on this occasion students of Grade VIII and IX performed the roles of different categories of doctors such as Cardiologist, Dentist, ENT specialist etc.

  • WORLD POPULATION DAY : On 11th July 2014, we celebrated ‘World Population Day’ in our school. On this occasion students played enact on effects of over population.

  • GRAND PARENTS DAY CELEBRATION : On 16th July 2014, we celebrated Grandparents day in our school. Chess and Moral story telling competitions were conducted for them.

  • WORLD ATLAS DAY CELEBRATION : On 16th July 2014, World Atlas Day was celebrated in our school. Gave information about the day and made grass cutting on the lawn.

  • FATHER’S DAY CELEBRATION : On 26th July 2014, we celebrated Father’s Day on eve of Shri Krishna Janmashtami. On this occasion we conducted a competition called Blowing the balloon for fathers. Our children performed  Basavanna enact. Mr Malagoudra, a famous advocate of Saundatti was the guest and gave wonderful speech on this occasion.

  • Shri Krishna Janmashtami celebration : On 26th July 2014, We  celebrated Shri Krishna Janmashtami in our school. Pre primary students dressed up like Radha and Krishna. We did cradling ceremony of Krishna. In this function, students performed dance on Krishna’s songs. Many parents  participated in this programme.

  • BOOK FAIR IN OUR SCHOOL : On 13th September 2014, There was a Book Fair in our school. This fair was inaugurated by Mrs Naina, a teacher of Kolhapur. Book fair got good response from parents and students.

  • Gandhi Jayanti Celebration On 2nd October 2014 : On this occasion, we  performed pooja of Great soul Mahatma Gandhiji and Lal Bahadur Shastri. Songs were sung by our music teacher and students. Our students gave speech on Gandhiji  and importance of cleanliness. Pledge was preached by Smt Draxayani. Power Point Presentation was done to give information about Gandhiji. We took the students to Rally in the Market with Slogans and Pamphlets to give awareness about cleanliness. There was good response from the public and Block Education Officer (BEO) also attended the Rally and appreciated our school.

  • Independence  day celebration : We celebrated Independence Day in our school on 15th August 2014. All the four houses performed March Fast and Drill. Speeches were given by students and teachers.

  • Hats off to Indian scientists ! : On 23rd September 2014, was the great day for Indians   that we, the Indians created a history in science and technology by succeeding  in MOM. We saluted our scientists by making a big function.

  • Soft boards, house boards and bulletin board : To display the talent or creativity of the students, We have soft boards in every class. There are house boards which are decorated every month by a specific subject by house wise students. At the school entrance, A beautiful Bulletin boards are filled with notices, Exam time table,notices of  Cultural committee, Important news paper cuttings , Excellent drawings and Greeting cards made by the students and other information about the School.

  • Traditional day celebration : As India known for its ‘Unity in diversity’, We celebrated traditional day on 22nd November 2014 i,e on Saturday.  On this day students wore different states traditional dresses and they gave information about their dresses. That day school was like a beautiful garden filled with colorful flowers.  

  • PARENTS SPORTS : For parents also we  conducted sports. In this there were many competitions such as Filling the bottle, Blowing balloon, Bomb in the city, Volley ball, Skipping etc. Many of the parents participated and got the prizes.

  • ANNUAL SPORTS : As proverb says Health is Wealth, It is very important that with the curricular activities, Co-curricular activities are also necessary for the students’ all round development. We conducted Annual Sports on 20th & 21st November 2014. In this students have participated individually and house wise .

  • EXHIBITION AND TALENT DISPLAY : We conducted science exhibition on 19th December 2014, i,e on Friday on the eve of Annual Gathering. Our students displayed their talent by making working and non working models. Exhibition got appreciation from many parents.            

  • ANNUAL Gathering : On 23rd December 2014, We had the great Annul Gathering. On this auspicious occasion Mr Vaman A Kulkarni was the Chief Guest, Mr G. S. Shintri was the President and Mrs V S Goankar Principal madam was present on the stage. We honoured students and teachers who did extraordinary achievements in this academic year. We had marvelous entertainment programmes. We had good response from the parents and Guests.

  • CHILDREN’S DAY CELEBRATION : On 14th November 2014, We have celebrated Children’s Day. On this occasion We performed Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru’s Pooja and Teachers  conducted assembly and danced for children and distributed sweets for the students.

  • PRINCIPAL  PARENTS MEETING : Yearly twice we conduct Parents Meeting to educate the parents about CBSE pattern of education. In these meetings our Principal madam give brief information, working method of CBSE school and how to work in the co ordination  for the welfare of the children.               

  • Celebrations : We celebrated Kanakadas Jayanti, Birth Anniversary of Thiruvalluvar, Gandhi Jayanti, Valmiki Jayanti, Birth Anniversary of Moulana Abdul Kalam Azad, Birth Anniversary of Pandit Nehru ,New year etc.

  • DAY CELEBRATIONS : In this academic year we conducted many programmes such as Flowers day, Yellow day, Hat day, Umbrella day etc. Teachers gave the information about the special day celebrations to the kids and beautifully arranged the things for the particular days.
